The Trophy Gold PDF is here!

Backers at Digital and higher should have access to the Trophy Gold PDF via your BackerKit account. If you can't find it there, check the Final PDF folder (we're not including a link here because this is a public post—you can find that folder in the backer-only update from last May). 

If you find a typo or something that needs correcting, please let us know in the feedback form. Do not tell us in a message or comment. 

It's pretty late for us when this post is going up, so we're going to keep it short for now. We'll do a full update a little later this week. But, in short, we're off to the printer!

A Quick Update on Trophy Gold

Hello! A quick update to let you know that we're very close to being done with the Trophy Gold PDF. Everything is laid out and quality-checked; Jesse just needs a few more days to get the artwork finished. He feels confident we'll have the PDF out to you by Sunday. 

Also: We have the Gold dice in hand and it is... a lot of dice, haha. 

Anyway, we'll be back again really soon with the Trophy Gold PDF and a full project update!

January 2022 Update

Hello! Some quick updates, including additions to the preview folder.

Jesse is aiming to have the Trophy Gold PDF complete by March. Keeping with our commitment to always give you something new to play while we finish up the books, we have put two incursions in the Preview Folder so you can see what the final Trophy Gold layout will look like. The incursions are The Rime Palace by Alexi Sargeant and The Huntsman's Manor by Natalie Ash. (You may recognize those two incursions as the ones featured on the Trophy podcast). The preview folder can be found in this update.

As always, if you backed on BackerKit, send us a message and we'll give you access to that preview folder. You can also find us on Discord (Discord is a little faster—just DM Jason or Jesse when you get there). 

Tokens are in-hand and dice are still slowly making their way to us. All card text is complete; we're now just wrapping up the art and should be sending those to print very soon. 

We still have a few late preorders and early credit card declines that need to be charged. We'll be charging those this week.

Trophy Loom PDF

Let's get some logistics out of the way first...

The Trophy Loom PDF has been added to your BackerKit Digital Downloads, as well as to the Final PDF folder (which is linked in the backer-only update from May 16th). If you notice a typo or have any other kind of feedback, please let us know in this typo report form. If you contributed to the crowdsourcing from the Gauntlet Forums and would like for you name to appear differently in the credits, please let us know by sending us a message (not a comment) so we can change it before we go to print. 

Now for the fun stuff...

Saint Suraya has descended the from the heavens and delivered the Trophy Loom PDF to us! We're extremely proud of this book. We think you'll agree that it's nothing short of breathtaking—Jesse has really outdone himself on the art and layout, and the content is so inspiring. We're thrilled to share this deeper insight into the world of Trophy. We have gotten glimpses of the world through Trophy Dark, but with Trophy Loom we get a much better understanding of its richness, its culture, its lore. And, most importantly, it's your  Kalduhr; we're giving you the threads, but it's on your play group to weave something beautiful, tragic, and magnificent from them.

We'll check in again soon with general updates on the project. For now, please enjoy having a look at Trophy Loom!

November 2021 update

Hello!

A quick Trophy Loom update. Trophy Loom is laid out and the text has been given one final quality check. Jesse is still putting the finishing touches on some of the artwork. The book has over fifty original paintings in it, so it's a lot, but Jesse is furiously cranking away to get it finished—he's nearly done. In the meantime, we have put some Trophy Loom preview PDFs in the preview folder (see earlier backer-only updates for the link to that folder) so you can get an idea of what the book is like. We're also putting some images of the first pages of those sample sections below, just in case you want to quickly check out the artwork. If you backed on BackerKit and don't yet have access to the preview folder, just message us through KS messages or on Discord (Discord is better). 

Speaking of Discord, we want to encourage you again to join us there. It's the absolute best way to stay in touch with Team Trophy—we're always there, always hanging out, always answering questions. That server can be found here.
